Our four day weekend finished with whispered tones as Depp and Truce sneaked around downstairs seeing what an Argentine Easter bunny leaves for children. It would appear that Kinder Surprise is the egg of choice over here as well as a brand called Bon Bon and instead of a ridiculous amount of tiny Easter eggs there was a sensible amount of chocolate butter toffees dispersed in various hiding places.
Later in the day we rode over to the other side of town to
Juan and Rosario’s place for lunch.
Sunday mornings are the best time for us to go riding as we generally
only see two or three cars.
While this wasn’t an official parrilla (BBQ) we were able to see how parrillas work. A real parrilla generally contains enough
meat to have cows shaking in fear for a fifty mile radius. Cooking with wood fire is so much more
appealing than using gas.
